
Application Information
Alpha Epsilon Zeta Fraternity, Inc. reserves the right to deny or grant membership to the Fraternity. All individuals who wish to become a member of the Fraternity must complete and submit the application package provided. An aspirant will not be considered for membership if the fully completed application package is not submitted. The application package should consist of the following:
1) A completed application form
2) An unofficial transcript from your university/college and a current class schedule.
i) Freshmen must submit an official or unofficial transcript from their high school.
ii) Online transcripts may be submitted
iii) Multiple transcripts are required if you matriculated at more than one institution
3) A photocopy of your student identification card
4) An essay that answers the following:
i) Please tell us about yourself - your background, hobbies, goals, and aspirations
ii) What does brotherhood mean to you?
iii) How can you contribute /be an asset to AEZ and how will being a member of this
organization benefit you?
We guarantee the privacy of all information provided. If the aspirant is denied membership, all information provided will be returned to the mailing address stated in the application form. The signed application could be held against the applicant in the court of law, if false information is provided in the completed application form.
All completed applications will be reviewed by the membership committee of Alpha Epsilon Zeta Fraternity, Inc. Applicants' eligibility for membership will be determined within a duration of no longer than ten business days after the application has been submitted in full to the committee. The applicant will be notified by the end of business day after the decision is made and if the decision is made after normal business hours, the applicant will be notified no later than the end of next day's business hours.
Applications are due September 15, 2010 by 9 am. You must submit a hardcopy to any of the brothers or deliver it to the AEZ drop-box at 400 Eshlemen Hall, 4th Floor, Berkeley CA, 94704. (http://berkeley.edu/map/maps/DE34.html) We also require an electronic copy via email of your essay to aezberkeley@gmail.com. We encourage you to apply before the deadline as membership is processed on a rolling basis.
Applications can be picked up at the first informational on Tuesday September 7, 2010 at 7PM in the Anderson Auditorium, Haas School of Business. A hardcopy can also be picked up at our table on Sproul Hall everyday between 10am-2pm from a brother, starting August 30. An electronic copy can be found here.
